Palestinian Animal League/Liberation

This talk will explore the connections between human rights and animal rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories and how the promotion of animal rights, particularly among young people in Palestinian society, can improve life for both animals and people. The talk will specifically challenge the view that progress towards animal rights can be achieved without considering and properly addressing human rights concerns and, instead, will provide practical examples of how these two important issues can be tackled in tandem for the benefit of all species and the environment.
